It starts with the tour of the cabins and the amenities with Tom the Host. There are so many little hiking trails that lead to the pond and an a spot the we called the Hobit area. Its filled with tall moss covered rocks and is rumored to be where the local Mennonites used to go to stay cool. Wildlife from birds to frogs to ducks to groundhogs to deer were seen throughout our time there, literally Trains to Cranes. During one of our hikes the grandkids found a grounded redtail hawk. Glamping Camping Clear Spring Maryland We had a great reminder of this this weekend when 4 generations were staying with us. Bill is 92 years young and he enjoyed every minute with family that he does not get to see often. He loved seeing the great grandkids and that made it all worthwhile for us.
